The city of Lubbock is alive for summer and chock-full of fun.

The First Friday Art Trail and Josh Abbott are both scheduled this week along with Cinco de Mayo. Get ready for an eventful week here in Lubbock.

  • Singer/Songwriter Night

    Every Tuesday night we bring together the best musicians in Lubbock to play some of the best (and most complicated) music ever written.

  • Brian McRae Live at the Funky Door

    May 3 The Funky Door Bistro & Wine Room 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

    Brian McRae first excelled as a drummer, but he also impresses playing guitar with the acoustic Killun Jive, pictured, and his own Brian McRae Band.

  • Jeff Dunham

    May 3 United Supermarkets Arena 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

    Jeff Dunham, the wildly popular and internationally acclaimed comic/ventriloquist is loading up the bus along with his cast of characters.

  • Open Mic Comedy

    May 4 at Ravi's Hookah Lounge 9:30 p.m.

  • First Friday Art Trail

    May 6 Downtown Lubbock 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

    The First Friday Art Trail is a monthly evening celebrating the arts in downtown Lubbock and beyond.

  • Fourth Annual Cinco De Mayo Parade

    May 7 on Broadway 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

    The 4th Annual Cinco de Mayo Parade of Lubbock will begin on Avenue W, moving east on historic Broadway to the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

  • Josh Abbott Spring Fest

    May 7 at the Lonestar Amphitheater 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
