This Week Marks the 25th Anniversary of Barbara Jean Hinojosa’s Murder

This week marks 25 years since the murder of 32-year-old Barbara Jean Hinojosa, who was found deceased inside her Lubbock residence.

The murder case remains very active, and over the last year investigators have re-interviewed multiple people about the case.

Hinojosa's home was burglarized and she was stabbed multiple times. The investigation revealed she was murdered sometime between 11 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 1991 and 9 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 1991.
