Today is a great day for some awesome 80's bands who are still making great music. First Tears For Fears drops a brand new track, and now A-Ha have done a beautiful revisit to Take On Me that you have to hear.

A-ha was recording an episode of MTV Unplugged Summer Solstice because that's still a thing now. I don't mind. Some of the greatest acoustic versions of bands songs have been performed on the Unplugged series. And now A-Ha have upped the ante with a brand new and powerfully re-imagined acoustic Take On Me. For me, this song has always been deep and melancholy, and this new version really brings a whole new level of emotion to it. Like this version is almost a part 2 to the original, or somehow this song is so great that it belongs in two different versions, both of which are equally amazing.
