Shaun White did NOT win his third straight gold medal in the men's halfpipe at the Olympics yesterday, finishing FOURTH. And some of the athletes say it's because the company that built the halfpipe messed it up.

All three Americans who were competing crashed in at least one of their runs, including Shaun.  And Deadspin.com put together a montage of some of the WORST crashes yesterday.

Men's Halfpipe Final Ends in Disaster of Gnarly Wrecks

(The worst are probably the ones at :25 and :31.)

Primetime Olympics Coverage Schedule:

From 7:00 to 10:30 P.M. on NBC. Wednesday's events include men's speed skating, pairs figure skating, the ladies' halfpipe and women's downhill skiing.

If you'd like to try to catch some results in real time, here's the schedule for those:

1. The men's 1,000-meter Speed Skating race started at 8:00 a.m. Shani Davis took the gold medal in this event in 2006 and then defended his title in 2010. If he wins again this year, it will be his third straight Olympic gold.

2. The free skating  portion of Pairs Figure Skating started at 9:45 a.m.

We have two couples in it, but they're down in 9th and 14th place going into tonight's competition. Tonight's free skating score will be added to last night's short program scores. (Skating Standings)

3. The Ladies' Halfpipe competition starts at 11:30 p.m. This is Hannah Teter's event.  She won the gold in 2006 and silver in 2010.

The women's downhill skiing event ran earlier this morning. Julia Mancuso had been trying for another medal in that event, after taking taking home the silver in it back in 2010.  But she didn't medal.  (Downhill Results)
