Alice Cooper Does Midland Sunday, May 7

Those of us who live in Lubbock are very fortunate to have several live performance venues across town where many great events are held.

Just over the past few months, Lubbock has been lucky to have many cool events, including Cirque de Sol, blink-182, Garth Brooks and Willie Nelson -- just to name a few.

While it's easy to ask why don't we get this or that and be upset about it, we should try to look at the bright side: Many of the events that don't make it to the Hub City do make it to places that are less then two hours away.

For example, on Sunday, May 7th, Alice Cooper will perform for one-night only at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center in Midland.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime event for many and it's less then an hour-and-a-half drive from Lubbock.
