An 80-Year-Old Woman Went Skydiving and Almost Slipped Out of Her Harness

Skydiving footage of an 80-year-old named Laverne is getting a bunch of attention online right now because her harness wasn't on tight enough and she almost slipped out of it in MID-AIR.

It was a tandem jump, because Laverne had never gone before.  And the instructor who was with her had to hang onto her to keep her from falling.

Apparently it happened last year, but the video just popped up online.  At the beginning of it, she says she's doing it to celebrate her 80th birthday.

According to the skydiving school, she was fine. They jump at :52, and the camera guy gets in closer around 1:05.
