Best Mexican Food Places in Lubbock

There's probably a hundred places to eat Mexican food in Lubbock, but can we pinpoint the best. It's hard to really point out who could be the best, but it's a fun argument to have with friends and lovers of Mexican food. I took the liberty of picking out six of my favorite places in Lubbock to eat Mexican food. Let the debate begin and tell us your favorite.

Taco Villa
Taco Villa is a local favorite for Mexican fast food. I love the bean and combination burritos they have, but the stand out is the Taco Rito. Perfect for a fast & delicious lunch.

Rosa's Tortilla Factory
The reason their awesome is in their name. They're a freakin' tortilla factory. Grab a stack of fresh tortillas and a bowl of queso and chow down.

Picantes
As far as i'm concerned, Picantes has the best chile rellenos in town, possibly the country. Get there early because parking fills up fast.

El Jalepeno
El Jalepeno is authentic Mexican food at its finest. They have awesome chips and hot sauce and everything on the menu is great.

Mi Tio's
Mi Tio's has one of the best patios in town. They also have great lunch specials with great menu and a great staff.

Nora's
I know this list is in no particular order but this is my hands down favorite in Lubbock when it comes to Mexican food. I haven't had anything there that wasn't incredible. My favorite thing to get there is the Hosch special. They also have great tortillas and awesome hot sauce. There's something special about a place where the tortillas are never the same shape or size. They're always hand made and always delicious.
