Bobby Smith the lead singer of the classic R&B group The Spinners...has died. He was 76. Bobbie passed away of complications from pneumonia and influenza, but he was also diagnosed with lung cancer back in November.

He was an original member of The Spinners, from their first hit, "That's What Girls Are Made For". This record had a VERY different sound than the Spinners hits of the 70's.

Henry Fambrough is the last remaining original member still performing with the Spinners.
