Sports commentators aren't supposed to be fans, but sometimes they can't help it.

Dallas Braden, a Texas Tech alum, who works on Baseball Tonight primarily was on the crew that broadcast the Texas Tech-Florida game on Tuesday.

Braden battled SEC and ACC bias during the game and provided a technical take on the pitching mechanics being displayed during the action. He also tried really hard not to be a fan during the broadcast.

But in the 4th inning, Braden couldn't help himself as he willed an Eric Gutierrez homerun out of the park.

Braden pitched for Texas Tech in 2004, but most will remember him from his perfect game against the Tampa Bay Rays in 2010 while pitching for the Oakland Athletics.

I, on the other hand, will always remember him for giving Alex Rodriguez the business.

Stay off my boys mound, AROD!
