Christian Castro Calls for a Reduced Bond
Christian Castro, 21, is in the news again for a recent appearance in court this week.
Castro's attorney asked to have his client's $100,000 bond reduced to $10,000, reports Everything Lubbock.
Castro was a former person of interest in the Mark Ysasaga murder case, and later was charged with assault of his pregnant girlfriend. Castro was never charged with anything related to the Ysasaga murder case.
Due to his lengthy record, prosecutors argued against Castro's mother when she said that the bond should be reduced. Records reveal that Castro has been arrested 10 times. Most recently, he threatened a police offer's wife last month while being arrested for domestic violence.
A judge will consider the evidence and make a decision at a later date.
