I'm still a little confused by what's happening here. A museum is having something as cool as a skateboarding exhibit. Its a contemporary art museum. In Plainview?

Let me repeat this. Plainview, Texas has a contemporary art museum and they're hosting a skateboarding exhibit. How rad is that? Not only is the entire concept cool but this exhibit will have some big name artists in person at the exhibit. The grammy award winning artist of of Pearl Jam's Lightning Bolt album cover, Don Pendleton will be there. Don has also designed for Nike, Vans, DC Shoes, Oakley, Pepsi , and many more.

The current editor of Thrasher Magazine will be there too along with other artists, animators, and authors. There will also be a skate contest at Plainview's skate park because of course they have one.

Check out the post about the event happening on Friday March, 16th.
