“D-Day: Normandy 1944″ Now Showing at the Science Spectrum OMNI Theater
Thursday on the Kool Morning Show, James Nesmith, administrative manager of the Science Spectrum, described the D-Day documentary that will be shown at the Science Spectrum.
“D-Day: Normandy 1944″ is now showing in the OMNI theater in the Science Spectrum.
The documentary commemorates the 70th anniversary of June 6, 1944, which marks the invasion of Normandy, France by Allied operations in WWII. Narrated by Tom Brokaw, the film will give a historic overview of the events surrounding the invasion. Nesmith said, “D-Day is one of those events that has shaped human history in the last 100 years more than any other event. It’s one of those things that we really need to take time to stop and pause and think about how…this event changed the course of history.”
The Science Spectrum will be partnering with the Silent Wings Museum, who will have a two-day recognition event on June 6 and 7.
