Details for Funeral Services Have Been Announced for Texas Tech Student Recently Killed

Joplin was a Texas Tech University student who was volunteering for the Ben Carson presidential campaign when he killed in a van crash in western Iowa. Three other people were in the van that crashed this past Tuesday, two volunteers and one Carson campaign staffer.

The funeral services for Joplin will be in his hometown of Midland. They are scheduled for Monday, January 25 at Crestview Baptist Church, at 1pm, at 301 North Loop 250 West in Midland. Also, a GoFundMe account has been set up online to help the Joplin family with funeral expenses.
