You don't have the palate to appreciate fine wine. And that's okay. Neither do I. Most of us don't. And ultimately, that probably means we're living well-rounded lives that don't revolve around wine.

Because according to a new study out of Penn State University, only wine experts can really appreciate the nuanced differences between a really fine bottle of wine, and the $10 bottle you get at the corner liquor store.

Over time, wine experts develop a more acute sense of taste...about 40% more sensitive than the rest of us. So they really can notice hints of flavor or touches of bitterness or whatever.

As for the rest of us, discount Walmart wine will do just fine.
