A typically extravagant pair of boots owned by Elton John are being auctioned to raise money for Amnesty International.

The black leather, knee-high boots, which can be seen on the listing, are U.K. size 8 and custom made by Giusti. The platforms feature a reflective gold piano design in the heels. John has autographed the sides of both platforms, with "With love, Elton John" on the left and "Elton John, February 1997" on the right.

The auction will run through shortly before 11:57PDT on Sunday, Sept. 1. According to ABC News Radio, the winning bidder will not only receive the boots, but also an autographed photo of John and two tickets to this year's Bestival, which is being held on the Isle of Wight from Sept. 5-8. John is closing the festival by headlining its final night.

"Basic human rights are being violated the world over on the basis of race, gender, religion or sexual orientation," Elton John said via the listing. "Amnesty International do an amazing job in bringing the world's attention to this abuse."

The auction is being held on eBay as part of the website's celebration of its history of raising money. Since 2006, eBay has helped raised more than £50 million for 7,800 charities across Great Britain.
