Food Does Not Offend Me
As a kid in high school, I weighed close to 300 pounds. So, yeah, I am not offended by food. Growing up in Ralls, it was always the general palate of southern fried chicken, mashed potatoes with cream gravy, macaroni and cheese, fried squash and anything else you can imagine on our table at nearly every meal, it wasn’t limited to Sunday dinner.
But I really do love all types of food. Here recently I’ve been on an Asian kick. My favorite eatery has these little jars of chile paste that I smother over all of my food. It’s hot! But I can’t seem to get enough of it. I find it tastes best over the sesame chicken dish.
From time to time, a group of male coworkers go and eat. It’s usually on a Wednesday and we call ourselves the “Band of Bellies”. We’re kind of loud and when Landon goes with us, it gets really loud! If you happen to see us out sometime, feel free to walk over and say “hi”.
That’s pretty much all I have right now. But hey, let me know some of your favorite eateries here in Lubbock! I’d love to hear about it, and maybe even enjoy it myself.
I’ll see you on the radio, Monday thru Friday from 3pm-7pm!
