Just before 3:45pm, the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office announced an "all-clear" for Frenship High School and the surrounding area. Tonight's Class 2A-D2 Football Playoff Game between Clarendon and Hamlin will be played as scheduled, 7pm at People's Bank Stadium.

Frenship ISD officials will hold a press conference at 2:20pm to discuss today's events.

While an "all-clear" has not been officially announced, KAMC News reports that groups of students are being searched before being allowed to leave campus via the tennis courts. Parents have gathered in the west parking lot adjacent to People's Bank Stadium (varsity football stadium) on FM 179.

Play is still suspended at the Gene Messer Shootout basketball tournament games scheduled for Frenship High School.

Frenship ISD officials placed Frenship High School, and the adjacent 9th Grade Center, on lockdown Friday just after 12 Noon. The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office SWAT team and Lubbock Police Department SWAT team were both called out to the scene after the lockdown was issued.

There are no reports of shots fired and as of 1:15pm, no arrests have been made.  According to KAMC News SWAT team members performed searches in classrooms while students and teachers sheltered in place. In addition, basketball games being played as part of a tournament were suspended during the lockdown.

Police have blocked off the intersection of FM 179 and Donald Preston Drive in front of Frenship High School.
