The green bean. It's not considered a hip or "in-style" food, but instead it is a food that has withstood the test of time. Brenda Duby with United Supermarkets stopped by the studio today to talk about this great Summer vegetable.

Green beans have great benefits. High in fiber, low in carbs and calories plus they are a great source of Vitamin C.

Duby suggested grilling green beans along with your steak or even wrapping them in bacon and throw them on the grill. Duby also suggested eating them fresh and even adding green beans to your salad.
