Easy R Equine Rescue is gonna be 'Horsin' Around' this Saturday, April 23, 2016 from noon to 4 p.m. in conjunction with the ASPCA's #HelpAHorse Day.

It's going to be an all-out celebration with the Texas Tech Masked Rider AND her horse, Fearless, making an appearance at 12:15 p.m.

We talked to Angie Alspaugh, owner of Easy R Equine Rescue, about the event and boy, do they have a whole lot of fun packed into four hours.

Alspaugh told us that they will have booths with kid-friendly activities, metal art for sale, a bake sale and demonstrations including working cattle dogs with sheep, a parade of horses, showcasing six different breeds and a Dressage demo, which is a style of horseback riding and training.

Alspaugh will also have several rescue horses on hand that adults and children can "love on and give treats to."

Brice Chapman will be onhand to wow the crowd with his trick roping skills that are so amazing that he's performed twice at the White House.

There will also be stick horse races with stick horses that kiddos get to make themselves and even adult races before the end of the event.

Admission is $3 for ages 13 and up, $1 for ages 6-12 and ages 5 and under get in free. Tickets will be sold for the various booths and activities at the event.

Food trucks will be onhand, too, so bring the family and friends to enjoy this amazing event and see what great work Angie and her team are doing to help these beautiful animals who have been abused and neglected.

She truly has a heart for living things big and small to be released from oppression and bondage and live healthy, happy lives.
