Thanksgiving is just around the corner and Brenda Duby with United Supermarkets came on the show today to give everyone a few tips for cooking up your Thanksgiving bird.

Duby says you want to buy a turkey that is about 1-1 1/2 pounds per person. You also want to take your turkey out of the freezer soon. Duby says you don't want the middle of the Turkey to be frozen when you start cooking it.

A great tip to prevent your Turkey from drying out? Tuck the wings under the shoulders. As far as cook time goes, Duby says she uses a thermometer and that it needs to read "165 in the breast and 175-180 in the thigh. The stuffing also needs to be at 165."

Get more tips in the video above and you will be on your way to a great Thanksgiving!
