I Had No Idea This Awesome Lubbock Facebook Page Existed

There is a lot of stupid crap online these days. Facebook is easily the worst, depending on how many friends you have. But thankfully, there are also some fantastic people on there, too.

We've all seen the garage-sale type pages and those are great. But this page, and quite a few others, take it to a new level.

Check out Lubbock Helping Lubbock. This is a Facebook page dedicated solely to helping those in our community. And that help can come in many forms.

Some are just needing a few simple things to make it through the holidays, maybe a bill paid, a new shirt for a new job etc. But some are really needing much more and that's where we all com into play.

I would highly recommend you visit this page right now and see if there is any way you could help your fellow human beings this month. Or if you're in need go see if someone out there can help you. I personally am going to foster a family this year because while I don't have much, I have more than some do and I can help.
