I smoked for over 25 years. I also have genetically not very white teeth. And then there's the Lubbock water too. Combine those together and you get teeth I'm not really happy to show off. I'm sure many of you feel the same. So let's see if we can fix that.

I got hooked up with Thurber Dental on 82nd street and they gave me a set of teeth whitening trays for my test run. I've used white strips and toothpastes and all the other stuff but never a set of bleaching trays. The strips and toothpaste really only lightened my teeth a little. It was noticeable to me, but probably not anybody else. So I decided to go a step further and get the bleaching trays. Thurber Dental and the whole crew there were really nice and got x-rays and molds of my teeth done in around 30 minutes. Then I went back the next day to get the plastic trays. And now we're in the experimenting phase.

Its actually a lot easier than the strips have ever been because you put the bleach stuff on the tray and the custom fit tray feels like your normal teeth almost. Then after 30-45 minutes you pop them out and brush your teeth and that's one day. I'm on day 2 now and I'll be taking pictures to update my progress as we see how much whiter I can get my yellow-ish teeth.

So follow along as I guinea pig myself for your benefit, and mine too. I'll post again in a couple days to show the progress.

Thanks again to Thurber Dental for donating the trays and the awesome service too!
