Slide The City bills itself as the world's largest slip-n-slide. At 1,000 feet long they're probably right. But is this awesomeness coming to Lubbock?

According to Wideopencountry: "The slip n’ slide is coming to a total of 13 Texas cities, including Austin, San Antonio, El Paso, College Station, McAllen, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Brownsville, Waco, Lubbock, Laredo, and Corpus Christi."

And if you click through to the Slide The City website, registration is already open. You can opt for a single slide for only $15, a triple slide for $30, or unlimited slides for $50. That's actually not bad for a full day of super slip-n-sliding.

Some people think this date isn't actually set yet, and the company is trying to see how many people sign up first before they actually book it. Who cares? I would sign up for this in a heartbeat!

My question is: where the heck in flat Lubbock are they going to put a slip-n-slide that needs a small slope for people to make it all the way? Answer me that!
