Legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor knows how to make an entrance. Sweet Baby James brought his all-star band to the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock, Texas Wednesday night and delivered both classics and future classics to a packed house.

Taylor's classy and simple stage setup mirrored his own genial personality. You could all but feel him blush when concertgoers screamed out, 'We love you, James!'

Dipping into his decades of iconic music, Taylor picked out highlights (Country Road, Carolina on My Mind & Your Smiling Face) while sprinkling in new music during his nearly two-hour set.

One of the biggest audience reactions of the night came when Taylor performed a song by "Lubbock's native son." As Taylor played the opening chords of Buddy Holly's Everyday, the crowd cheered and cheered.

At 68 years young, Taylor definitely still has it. We can't wait for the next time he graces Lubbock with his presence.
