Joe Walsh will corral some of his country pals and an old rock and roll friend to help celebrate the release of his new solo album ‘Analog Man,’ appearing on a special edition of the popular CMT ‘Crossroads’ series which will premiere on Saturday, June 23.

As you’ll read in our upcoming interview with Walsh, his new solo album has some Nashville roots, and the ‘Crossroads’ appearance will delve into that world even further. Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, and Luke Bryan are some of the country artists who will appear on the ‘Crossroads’ event, titled ‘Joe Walsh & Friends.’

Fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top will also slide in to jam with Walsh. The program promises a mix of Walsh’s own solo hits and Eagles songs including ‘Life’s Been Good To Me,’ ‘Life In The Fast Lane’ and more.

The evening’s participants were handpicked by Walsh, who enthusiastically says that “nothing beats country music with a little rock & roll sprinkled on top. We’re going to mix up a batch and see what happens. I got a real good feeling about it. Nashville, here we come!”

Joe Walsh grabbed three slots on our recent Top 100 Classic Rock Songs list, snaring chart positions for his lifetime of work both solo and with the James Gang and the Eagles.
