Since Friday, we've all noticed endless Faceook posts of people copying and posting pictures of candles and messages of sympathy. While that's great, it doesn't get to the people who actually need messages of hope and love.

So, all of us here at Kool FM have decided to have our listeners send us cards for the Sandy Hook Elementary School, and then on Friday December 21st, we will then collectively send them off to the school. We are calling this project “From Lubbock, With Love”.

Please drop off your card or mail it in to:

The staff and teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary did an INCREDIBLE job limiting the loss of life. Some teachers like Kaitlin Roig and Maryrose Kristopik took groups of students into bathrooms and closets and barricaded the doors to save their lives.

Others, including the principal and the school psychologist, died trying to stop the shooter and save the children.

Here are the 20 young children and six staff members (all women) who were senselessly murdered in Connecticut on Friday morning. It's MORE IMPORTANT that we know their names than the name of the person who murdered them.
