Midland Hoping to Set ‘Thriller’ Dance World Record

Midland is having a 'Thriller' of an event in hopes of setting a new world record.

This Saturday, October 24, 2015, Thrill The World West Texas will attempt to set a new world record for the most people dancing to Michael Jackson's song "Thriller" at once. The world record was previously set in Los Angeles, California in 2009.

The Midland version of Thrill The World hopes to not only set a new world record, but to unite people, dressed as zombies or not, in the music and dance of Michael Jackson.

There will also be makeup artists on hand to help you look the part for $10 a pop. It's $1 to register to take part.
