It was 1985 when Dire Straits Brothers In Arms album came out. The album featured the hits Walk Of Life; Brothers In Arms and of course Money for Nothing. Money for nothing was the coolest ever, I thought. With that signature guitar riff, sweet!

I was 14 years old and we had traveled to Mineral Wells to visit my uncle Roger. I miss my uncle Roger he was the coolest! On a late night trip to the Wal-Mart I found the cassette! Awesome!

I guess really, it wasn’t so much the cassette itself…it was probably more that rocking Dolby sound and souped-up bass amp that Ford had in my grandparents 1984 Crown Victoria, it was standard equipment, by the way. Ah, I can still hear the tape hiss.
