Marvel may never shake questions of gun violence around The Punisher, but the Netflix spinoff is taking aim at a new release. A second trailer for the Defenders-adjacent drama delves into Frank’s past and sets an official November premiere date.

The series had previously pulled out of its New York Comic-Con presentation in deference to the shooting tragedy in Las Vegas, reportedly scrapping plans for a surprise premiere in the process. Now, the series’ second Metallica-led trailer confirms a November 17 premiere date, falling closer in line with original rumors of the series’ release.

Elsewhere, Marvel’s Netflix Punisher will feature Deborah Ann Woll back as Karen Page, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as “Micro,” Westworld alum Ben Barnes as Frank’s Special Forces friend (and future Jigsaw) Billy Russo, Amber Rose Revah as Homeland Security agent Dinah Madani, Daniel Webber as Lewis Walcott, Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, Paul Schulze as Rawlins, Jaime Ray Newman as Micro’s wife Sarah Lieberman and Michael Nathanson as Sam Stein.

We’ll hear more on Marvel’s Netflix Punisher in the coming weeks, so watch the first trailer below and stay tuned.
