The Ranching Heritage Center's 39th annual "Candlelight At The Ranch" will be December 8th and 9th. This is a Lubbock holiday tradition to be sure.

One of the great things about Christmas in Lubbock is seeing what it was like and how it was celebrated by those that settled the area. That's exactly what "Candlelight At The Ranch" does. From the earliest settlers and pioneers to west Texas this holiday tradition explores how early Christmases happened on the plains.

Billed as a "living Christmas card", this event is fun and informative for the whole family. Including around 4,000 luminaries, and volunteers dressed in period clothing, plus Christmas carols by the Lubbock High School choir, this FREE event is one for your calendar. A suggested $5 donation per family is minimal for an experience like this one. click here for more details, or here to purchase VIP tickets.

Friday and Saturday, December 8-9 from 6:30-9 PM the Candlelight will be open to the public.

Here is the official Candlelight map.
