Wednesday morning, Lubbock County Republican Party Chairman Steve Evans joined The Chad Hasty Show in the KFYO studio to review the results from last night's 'Super Tuesday' election returns.

Evans and Hasty talked about the many different contests from the evening, including those on the local, state and national levels, and discussed what will happen next in the races that are still to be decided.

When asked by Hasty about his overall impressions from last night's election results, Evans replied,

You and I talked about this early on, and I really thought, at the time, it would be a Glen Robertson / Michael Bob Starr run-off. And it was shaping up. And of course, we're beating this thing to death, they just didn't handle it properly. They didn't handle the LGBT [Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender in the military controversy] stuff properly. We can analyze that for years on what happened, but not surprised at the Arrington Robertson run-off, I'm really not.
