Support Your Local Meals On Wheels When You Can

I had a wonderful time today helping deliver meals for our local Meals On Wheels. If you're looking to help directly on our community, this is a great place to start.

Every year MOW hosts a celebrity Big Wheels Deliver Meals where local car enthusiasts partner with a local "celebrity" to make deliveries for the day. Today was my chance to be one of those "celebrities". (It's in quotes because I'm not really a celebrity, I'm just a guy on the radio.)

But I wanted to thank Mary Gerlach who runs MOW for inviting me to be a part this year. And I urge anyone who wants to make a difference in Lubbock to volunteer. You can see an instant impact on just a little bit of your volunteer time making a delivery of food to someone who wouldn't have any without the help of MOW.
