Suspect Arrested in Arson at Former Putt-Putt Miniature Golf and Amusement Park Property
Late Friday afternoon (March 4), the Lubbock Fire Department announced an arrest had been made in the arson case from last month at the former Putt-Putt Miniature Golf and Amusement Park property.
The fire broke out the evening of February 14 in the 5100 block of 29th Drive.
The main building on the property was destroyed in the fire and the land on the edges of the property was burned.
Eighteen-year-old Caleb Brandon Michie was arrested and charged with felony counts of arson and burglary. He was booked into the Lubbock County Jail and he will be arraigned in the near future. Additional arrests are expected in the case.
