On this day in 1967 the Doors' smash 'Light My Fire' was certified Gold and so was their self-titled debut album, which gave us 'Break On Through', 'The Crystal Ship', 'Twentieth Century Fox', 'The End' AND 'Alabama Song (Whisky Bar)'.
