There's no doubt that John Carpenter's 1981 sci-fi / action flick "Escape From New York" is one of the coolest movies of all time. But when Air Force One crash lands and the president is taken hostage by the city's leader, The Duke, it's up to eyepatch-wearing antihero Snake Plissken...played by Kurt Russell...to rescue him.
