Severe winter weather causes delays for schools and businesses in Lubbock County and surrounding areas.

For the fourth day in a row in Lubbock County and surrounding areas there are more delays.

For the third day in a row some Lubbock area schools, businesses, and government agencies have delayed or canceled for the day.

Some daycares, schools, businesses and government facilities in Lubbock and surrounding areas have opted to delay their opening times.

Due to the snow and potential for icy conditions on Monday morning, Lubbock ISD has announced that classes will be delayed by two hours for all campuses. Buses will also be delayed for two hours.
