Amber works as a teacher and girl’s basketball coach at Lipan High School.  Last Saturday, her team had a regional semifinal game that could vault them into the state playoffs.

But….Amber was nine months pregnant and that baby was ready to pop. When she went into labor on Friday, everyone assumed she'd miss the game.

Late Friday night, Amber gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Leslie.

A few hours later she was out of the hospital, in the car, and on her way to coach her team.

And the Lipan girls came from behind to win 45-to-41…which sent them to the state semifinals for the first time since 2003.

After the game, Amber went back to the hospital to spend more time with her newborn daughter.
