Texas Tech Police Searching for Suspect in Attempted Carjacking on Texas Tech Campus

Sunday night (Feb. 21), Texas Tech Police released a campus alert about an attempted carjacking that took place on campus.

The alert stated around 7 p.m. Sunday night, an armed black male in a dark blue four door Chevy Cavalier attempted to steal a student’s car.

According to TTU Police, the victim in this attempted car-jacking hit the suspect on the head with her hand and got away.
