Thanks to President Obama, Sales of ‘Let’s Stay Together’ Are Up 490%

Al Green's song 'Let's Stay Together' was downloaded over 16,000 times last week, which was up 490% from the week before. It was the biggest digital sales week for the song since Soundscan started tracking downloads in 2003.

This is President Obama's doing. Last Thursday, he sang the first line of the song at a campaign fundraiser and when the video hit the Internet, it went viral.
