Like Sinister before it, Blumhouse Productions’ new horror film also boasts a famous leading man — this time Kevin Bacon — coping with something supernatural that’s tormenting his family. The Darkness incorporates Native American mythology, a creepy kid and some mysterious black handprints in the trailer for the company’s latest bid to spook you senseless. And if that doesn’t sound too appealing, The Darkness comes from Greg McLean, the director of beloved Aussie horror flick Wolf Creek.

Speaking of wolves, that’s just one of the things Bacon’s family has to contend with after returning home from a vacation trip to the Grand Canyon. There’s something not quite right about their youngest kid, Mikey, who brought some weird stones back from their trip that have something to do with Native American ghosts or something. Here’s the official synopsis:

From the director of the cult classic, WOLF CREEK, Greg McLean, comes the supernatural thriller THE DARKNESS, opening nationwide May 13th, 2016. As a family returns home from vacation at the Grand Canyon, they innocently bring home a supernatural force that preys off their own fears and vulnerabilities, threatening to destroy them from within, while consuming their lives with terrifying consequences.

The Darkness also stars Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill), Matt Walsh (Veep), David Mazouz (Gotham), Lucy Fry (Vampire Academy) and Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time), and hits theaters on May 13.
