The Galveston, Texas tourism bureau purchased the rights to Glen Campbell's massive '60s hit "Galveston".  They shelled $25,000 to use the song for the next two years and then proceeded to defile it by recording a version with a different singer.

No offense to the singer, I'm sure he got paid...but after listening to his take I NEED to hear Glen's version!
