FRIDAY...

A SIGNIFICANT ARCTIC OUTBREAK PERHAPS APPROACHING RECORD COLD
TEMPERATURES AT TIMES WILL OVERSPREAD ALL OF THE REGION AND REMAIN
INTACT THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK. PERIODS OF FREEZING
DRIZZLE...FREEZING RAIN...AND SLEET ARE EXPECTED OVER MUCH OF THE
AREA EARLY THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY MORNING WITH AN
OPPORTUNITY FOR SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW NORTHWEST OF A MORTON TO
SILVERTON LINE. LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE
THROUGHOUT THE SOUTHERN ROLLING PLAINS...WITH A WINTRY MIX LIKELY
ELSEWHERE. THERE CONTINUES TO BE UNCERTAINTY REGARDING THE
COVERAGE AND AMOUNT OF ICE AND SNOW.
