There’s a New App That Quits Your Job For You, With a Text Message
This is just a hunch, but I'm guessing if you quit your job with a TEXT MESSAGE, you're burning that bridge with your boss. But maybe you're SO non-confrontational that the trade off is worth it to you?
There's a new iPhone app out called Quit Your Job which helps you carefully craft your "I quit" text message to your boss . . . then sends it for you. After that, you can use the app to browse for open jobs online.
An employment company called TheLadders built the app. They say, quote, "Despite all the advances in technology we still quit our jobs the same way we did hundreds of years ago.
"There's a lot of anxiety around the resignation process, so we use technology to ease the pain in that moment and make it seamless to break up with your boss."
The app is available free in the App Store. Use at your own risk.
