United Supermarkets to Honor Retiring Team Member After 52 Years of Service

Friday, Jan. 10th, United Supermarkets will honor Abel Pompa, who is retiring after more than 52 years of service to the company, including 45 years at multiple Lubbock stores.

United will hold a retirement reception at the 50th & Indiana location with team members and guests to celebrating Pompa’s contributions to the United family. The celebration will begin at 11am.

Lubbock’s first United location opened in the 1950s, and Pompa joined in 1962. His Team Member number was 7.
