The Heroes For Horses fundraiser for Easy R Equine was a wonderful success last week. Held at the beautiful Eberley Brooks Event Center, it was one tremendous night with an important mission to help the rescue horses.

Guest host Chad Prather's entertaining and powerful message speaks volumes for the cause. You can watch him on the stage in the video above.

"The key to life is to get a dream so big you see beyond your limitations," Prather said. "The vision always leads to passion, passion is being inspired by what you see, it's what gets you up in the morning, it's having your life so revolutionized by a vision, that thing that you see, that you want to just tell everybody about it. Passion should lead to discipline. Discipline is shaping your life in order to accomplish the vision."

You can hear the rest of his inspiring and insightful words above.

We have an opportunity to really make a difference when we take inspired action, with vision and purpose, and that's what you can accomplish by supporting Easy R Equine.

The fundraiser event is over, but it's not too late to help Easy R Equine in their ongoing work with rescue horses. Learn more by following this link to their website.

The mission of Easy R Equine Rescue as stated on their website is:

The mission of Easy R Equine Rescue is two-fold: 1. to rescue and rehabilitate abused, neglected, and displaced horses and, 2. to use these horses and the process of rehabilitation as a ministry to youth and families. Easy R has been in operation since 2009 and was founded by Terry and Angie Alspaugh. Easy R is located in Lubbock, Texas and is designated as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Beloved horses, are rescued from the most difficult circumstances by Easy R Equine Horse Rescue and they need our help to meet the dramatic costs of saving these beautiful animals. Every horse deserves a second chance. You can help make a difference for rescued horses.

I am personally dedicated to this work and speak from the heart. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work with Angie and Terry Alspaugh in this important work to save horses.

Here is a photo gallery recap of the Heroes For Horses Event on September 29th at the Eberley Brooks Event Center, which featured music by Gary Nix & West! Texas, a sit-down dinner with food catered by Market Street, plus a silent auction, live auction and raffle.

We hope to see you there next year!
