A man wanted for murder in New Mexico has been arrested in the Hub City by the Lubbock Police Department.

O'Shay Toney (19) was detained by the LPD on July 15. He had been eluding police after he was tied to the murder of Marvin Ellis in Albuquerque back on May 31.

O'Shay was one of two suspects wanted for murder in this case. The other suspect, Thomas Stevenson (31), also eluded arrest, but has since been detained by police in Louisiana.

Toney will be extradited back to New Mexico, but currently remains in the Lubbock County Jail.
