We all know "Imagine" is an amazing song.  And "The Wall".  And "Hotel California".  It is embedded into our brains with every "Best Songs of All-Time" list that comes out.  But there are some songs that are truly amazing or that touch you because they take you back to a certain time in your life.

Over the weekend I had some friends over and we were playing one of the satellite music channels (I know, I know) for just background music while people were hanging out.  All of a sudden, a certain song starts and one of the guys at my house said, "EVERYONE STOP!!  LISTEN TO THIS SONG!!  It does NOT get the credit it deserves and it is an amazing song!!!"  The song?  "Hold Me Now" by Thompson Twins.  He said that people don't credit it because it's been put in that cheesy 80's One Hit Wonder category but if you really listen (especially to the iconic intro), it is awesome!

We went in two directions with this: What is an amazing song that doesn't get the credit it deserves and also what song has the best/most nostalgic intro?

By the way, our conversation was revolving around songs from the 80's, but yours can be from any decade...
