Winter Park Colorado Is Getting Ready For Ski Season [PICS]

I have a friend in Colorado Springs who shared these pics from Winter Park's press release. The snow isn't anywhere deep enough, or even covering the ground yet. But ski season is less than 2 months away.

I've only been skiing a few times in my life and Winter Park was one of the places I've been. Its got great slopes and is a really fun resort. Just make sure you try to go on an off day because there were over 10,000 people on the mountain the day I was there. And while it is a mountain, cramming 10,000 people on it still gets a little too busy for me. The resort opens November 15th and runs until the snow melts and you're skiing on rocks.
