We find the oddest uses for things now and then don’t we. Just ask Alberta dentist Dr. Michael Zuk, who purchased a tooth, from the mouth of John Lennon, for over $32,000. The doc’s sister, artist Kirsten Zuk, has used a piece of the molar in a clay sculpture of the famed Beatle.The tooth was bought at a Stockport, England auction in November.

The celebration of the Beach Boys‘ 50th anniversary rolls on! Capitol Records has announced it will be launching yet another massive re-issue campaign for the legendary Californian band.

With the sudden death of Davy Jones earlier this year, it seemed like all Monkee business would be put on put on hold, but now comes word that the remaining three members are “comin’ to your town” one more time.

“As a percussion player, I approach my own work in a very emotional, personal way,” says legendary Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood, “and so I have to rely on one thing, the essence of feel.”

According to Gigwise.com,  a promotional copy of an early Beatles 7″ single has sold at auction for $35,000.

According to Sweet bassist Steve Priest, singer Brian Connolly had to quit the legendary glam band because of his serious smoking habit.
