According to a new interview, Brandon King, the man who was fired from his job at the West Virginia Corrections Department for sending a racist message to Texas Tech receiver T.J. Vasher, now claims it was his cousin who sent the message using King's Facebook account.

"I talked to the athletics director down there," King said in the interview. "I explained the whole situation to him, what was going on, what happened, and I told him that I sincerely apologize to T.J., because my cousin's idiotic behavior by posting that on my Facebook -- my Facebook, then throwing me under the bus, making me look like the bad guy."

The old, 'My cousin did it!' defense. We'll see how far that gets him.

To be fair, it could have been anyone, but it's a tale as old as time to use the 'hacked account' excuse after doing something that you didn't think would be public, then becomes public.
